Kelly Rae Roberts
Kelly is a full-time artist, writer, and innovator who helps women explore their creativity and nourish their souls, unleashing their joy through creativity and self-kindness. Her job as a clinical social worker was big and important, but it also made her restless. Everything changed when she started playing with paint at the age of 30. Painting brought her what she craved: healing, unburdened joy, awakening. Painting, making, shredding, stenciling, smearing and smearing until 2006 when her licensing career blossomed. Her art licensing brand lands in home improvement stores and gift shops all over the world, among others. And generated millions of dollars in revenue. Since then her art has spread like wildfire around the world. In the meantime, I've created several beloved courses and retreats that share everything she's learned through living creatively and running a profitable arts business. Her blog shares the full, honest journey, the joy, the burnout, strategies like self-care, the celebrations and milestones, the balancing of motherhood and business, everything. An important part of her journey was that she never let go of her former self as a social worker. She is still listening, sharing, healing, navigating the turmoil and making an impact, including the art, classes and retreats she now uses at the hospital rather than simply communicating. Her beliefs are the nexus of everything she does, creates, and teaches: vulnerability, joy, ambition, self-love, creativity, possibility, kindness, and listening. She shares her life with her son True, husband John, and two English bulldogs named Lulu Butter Butter Bean and Amelia Apple Bottoms. The family lives in a colorful modern farmhouse in the small town of Sisters in central Oregon, surrounded by three magnificent mountains named Faith, Hope and Charity.
