Piddix
Corinna Buchholz, a traveler, rocker, artist and mom, began collecting vintage pieces and traveling to archives as a teenager. Now, nearly 100,000 images later, the Piddix Archive, named after her hometown of Portland, Ore. (P-D-X), contains an incredible array of vintage, vintage and historically inspired designs that can be used in everything from greeting cards to home decor to wall art. With a full-size scanner in her backpack and camera in hand, Corinne personally visited or scanned images from 153 archives around the world. The Piddix collection is particularly strong in vintage flowers, vintage motifs, mid-century Christmas images and travel posters. Corinne personally studies each Piddix image with a team of lawyers to ensure it is 100% safe for commercial use worldwide, then scans, recovers and often incorporates the delicate ephemera into new, forward-looking artwork.<br />
