Michael Storrings
Michael Storings currently lives in New York City. He is an artist and executive creative director of St. Martin's Press. He creates the art of "celebration", whether in decorations, home decor or paper, capturing the special nature of the seasons and cities through colour, energy and emotion. Michael's highly collectible city-themed Christmas tree decorations are sold online and at Boutique retailers including Bergdorf Goodman, Bloomingdale's, The Plaza Boutique, and Saks Fifth Avenue. His work is used on decorations, stationery, puzzles, snowflake balls, home ornaments and cans. He recently entered into a licensing partnership with Balsam Hill® to create Christmas products sold worldwide, from decorations and snowballs to LED Christmas wall hangings. Prints and prints of his work are available at selected retailers. Michael has published a variety of books, notably "A Very New York Christmas," "12 Days of Christmas in New York," "Four Seasons in New York," and "Season of Coloring Books in New York." He created exclusive book editions for Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and a nationwide decorating campaign and book for Bloomingdales called the Magical Night Before Christmas. He illustrated the Christmas travels of Kathie Lee Gifford and New York Times best-selling author Donna Van Liere.

Michael has received numerous awards from the American Society of Graphic Artists, The Art Directors Club, the Society of Illustrators, Print Magazines and the New York Book Fair.
