Heather Gauthier
Heather Gauthier's style is influenced by both urban and rural environments. She often paints for interior decor and is particularly influenced by vintage and modern graphic and textile design. She painted many subjects, but my most beloved animal portraits might be considered "anthropomorphic realism." These feature animals posing with flowers or objects on a damask style background.
After a decade of living and working in Chicago and Africa, she and her family now live in Texas. She holds regular exhibitions in galleries and cafes, each showcasing new projects and unique ideas. In addition to being active on PBS shows ARTS and HGTV, one of her works is in the permanent collection of the Children's Museum in SAN Antonio.
