Carolyn Jenkins
Carolyn Jenkins lives in London. She studied art and graphic design at St Martin's College of Art and Bath College of Art in London. Over the years, she has worked as an illustrator for publishing, advertising and graphic design companies, contributing to a number of publications. She is also a professional gardener. Combining her love of art and gardening with watercolor paintings of plants and flowers. In 2011, she studied for a Diploma in Plant Painting at the British School of Horticulture, for which she was named 'Outstanding' and 'Best Student'. Her plant paintings won two RHS MEDALS at the Royal Horticultural Society Plant Art Exhibition; It won the Gold Award and "Best Exhibition" in 2011 and the Silver Award in 2016. The RHS Lindley Library purchased two of her collections of paintings; Helleborus x hybridus and Dahlias "Arabian Nights". In the United States, the Hunter Institute for Botanical Documentation also has one of her paintings in its collection. Her most recent work includes her book, New Ideas on Plant Painting published by Batsford Books, Our clients include; Darphin Paris, Crabtree & Evelyn, Diageo, Estee Lauder, Hobbs Sunday Times Magazine, and illustrations for Hobbs Hobbs (illustrated in this book: "His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, Highgrove, a famous garden).
