Nick Hayes is a British author, illustrator and land acquisition activist who has written graphic novels and a non-fiction book, The Book of Trespass. He grew up in Upper Basildon, Berkshire, and became the founding editor of Meat Magazine in 2004. He can convey an incredible emotional context through some very expressive images. Quiet and idle or bold and busy, all of his work is considered thoughtful and sensitive. Nick specialises in lino prints, concept works and traditional illustrations for the children's publishing, newspaper and magazine industries.
